Omgness, sorry! + 20 ways to use a hair tie!

I am so stinking mad at myself, i havent posted in like a bajillion years! Hehehe
So today i have 20 ways to use a hair tie, just in case you feel like switching up your style a bit!
1. To tie your hair back!
2. Cut it, and tie it to your shoe lace of your gym sneakers.
3. Loose shirt? tie it in the back with a hair tie to make it tighter!
4. Take about 3, cut them, braid them together, use 2 more (smaller) hair ties to tie them at the end, and put on the end of a pencil or pen.
5. A whole bunch of the same color, but got really short hair? link them all together into a huge one and use it as a headband!
6. Link 2 together and put on a bobby pin
7. Lots of time? Attach feathers (ask me on gmail chat how) to it and use it to tie your hair back
8. Link 2 together (ask me on gmail chat how) and wear on your wrist
9. Got a whole million hair ties? link (again, gmail chat me or email me how) some to your flip flops. Ga-dorgeous!
10. Make earrings out of them! (email me for a how to)
11. Again, loose shirt? Take 2 and tie them to each side. Loose sleeves? Take 2 and tie one to each sleeve.
12. Long hair? Tie your hair back with 1 hair tie. Start braiding. After braiding about .5 in, tie with a hair tie. Start braiding again. Repeat process until at end of hair.
13. Short hair? Make a tiny braid and tie at end with small hair tie.
14. Blunt bangs? Part bangs in the middle. Now part to the side. Take pieces of your bangs and tie them with your other pieces of hair. (email me for a how-to) leave some bangs out.
15. Long, curly hair? Make a side pony tail and tie with hair tie. about .5 inch below, tie again, and so on until finished with hair.
16. Got a million hair ties? Link them all together and make a belt!
17. Link about 10 (if not, less) together and cuff at the bottom of your skinny jeans.
18. Cut one, and duck tape to the back of your phone. Phone tail!
19. Shoot one at your best friend!
20. Hot outside? Huge shirt? Take the shirt, rise it to where you want the desired crop, then tie in the back with a hair tie.

Have fun with your hair ties!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello everyone! I am BACK! Just in time for black friday!!!! Here is your ultimate guide for black friday...

Apps: TGI Black friday: Make lists of items and search stores for deals!
Tip! Look for stores with like Cash programs (Kohls cash, {old navy} super CASH, etc.) to get cash back and for later use
****Some stores open at midnight! (Macy's, Kohls, Bon Ton, etc.)
******Wal-Mart opens at 10! (like anyone would go there :P)

Tip! Look in the clearance. You can probably find cute stuff for a SUPAH, supah good price!!!!
Tip! Avoid long lines in checkout. Grab a bunch of cute cheap stuff (you like, and that fit, duh) until
lines get shorter then dash for the cashier!
****Lots of stuff combined make a good price (2 for 1, buy 1 get one free, etc.). Find those!

{Have a crew with you split and scan the store. If they find something you or your friend might like, they can take a picture and send it to you on their cell phone. Meet at a central spot to reconvene.}

Tech: Smartphone? Check the stores online site on your smartphone to see exactly which department your [item] will be located.

****Take a picture of some ads on your cell phone and bring to the store. That way, you don't have to have a list!

Tip! After paid, move into the bathroom or other secluded area and transfer some items to another shopping bag {i.e., if you have 5 bags full of (4) shirts each, put 2 shirts in bag 3, 3 in bag 4, and 3 in bag 5.} Less baggage, more arm room.

{If someone spots the same item as you, make your gym-class worthy mad dash to the item!}

Lets talk eyeliner: Biggest new trends

Chat w/ me on google for more beauty advice. I'm Lily V!

Eyeliner. The key to a smokey eye. The liner to the eye. It seals the look all together. Now, what is falls biggest trend?

Olive greens, Deep charcoals, and slight silvers!

Sorry for the inconvinience, we do not have any olive green eyeliner models.

Here is Emily Deschanel modeling a charcoal-ish colored eyeliner. You like as much as 56 does? You bet!!!
And Kristin Stewart here is modeling a silver smokey eye. And here we go into smokey for fall.

Smokey eyes this fall are a must for going out. How to pull off 3 levels of smokey.

Level 1: Naturally Dramatic.
1. Start with a primer or whatever you use on your lids.
2. Contour the eyes with a brown liner.
3. Use a peachy pink-ish color on the inside corner of eye and browbone. Dust lightly.
4. Next, use a soft (but dark) pink on the crease and along lash line.
5. Now take a dark brown (matte) shadow and use on outer corner of eye and meet up with medium shade in the crease.
6. Place another coat of brown eyeliner along lash line.

Level 2: Drama Queen Sidekick.
1. use step 1 from level 1.
2. Use a dark gray or charcoal along lash line.
3. Then, use a white or cream shadow on inside corner, brow bone, and underneath eye.
4. Next, use a turquoise-ish shade from the lash line to just below the browbone. For a more dramatic appear, wing outwards.
5. Then, take a navy blue and accent the contour (medium) shade by winging it outwards also, from lash line to brow bone.
6. Lastly, put another layer of eyeliner along lash line.

This is the eye handbook you should probably print out and use NOW!

1. Eyeliners

Blue eyes: Brown, Plum, Silver
Brown eyes: Black, brown, olive, silver, teal
Hazel: Olive, teal, black, brown

Eyeliner tip: Use an angle (eyeliner) brush to blend in liner on the lash line.

*Olive is a great day look. Along with brown :)

2. Mixing Eyeliners

Teal and Silver, Brown and Black, Plum and Olive, Brown and Purple, Blue and Purple, Purple and Silver, Brown and Silver, Olive and Brown, Black and Plum.

Think of any other combos? Email me at lcv.rules@gmail.com

10 weekend beauty ideas!!!

County Fair this weekend??? 10 weekend beauty tips that are perfect for this type of occasion.

1. Going at night time??? Play up the eye factor a bit and go with a darker liner and a bit of darker eye shadow to rejuvenate for the night.
2. While it may be warm out, it may get chilly as it gets later into the afternoon. Always have a cardi or hoodie with you (or keep it in a tote)
3. Smart hair is key. French braids, ponytails, and side braids keep hair out of the way while staying cool.
4. Don't opt for heels at the fair. You would be better off with some sneakers or flip flops.
5. Keep a water bottle with you (in a tote or something) at all times so you can stay hydrated in the sun.
6. Even if it is cloudy, sunscreen is required if you don't want to get skin cancer
7. Just like the annoying Target commercial says, "Denim, Converse one star shoes, Denim" Jeans, Denim jackets, denim shorts, are great for the fair. Converse, too.
8. Bright pink fingernails and a more subtle pink pedi is perfect for a local outing.
9. Can someone say boardwalk fries? I say messy. bring some mini Tide sticks in your purse so your not stuck with a ketchup stain all night.
10. Bad breath can lead to no one talking to you. Colgate Wisp mini brushes can solve that. Keep some in your purse and you'll be fine.

What type of person are you?

1. Check the month you were born in
January: You are very ahead on things, whether its school, or friends.
February: You are probably romantic, fun, and noble.
March: You are very lucky. Period
April: You are often sad, down, or blue
May: You are very popular, happy, comfortable in your own life.
June: You are carefree, high spirited, and love the sun
July: You are very strong and is more of a leader than a follower.
August: You are fierce and wild, but tame when controlled.
September: You are fresh and cool, like a breeze.
October: You tend to like to freak people out or scare them.
November:You are shy and uncomfortable with people 1 on 1, but once you are in a big group you open up to the world.
December: You are very merry and have a good attitude about (a lot) of things.

2. Now see what season you were born in
Winter: Bittersweet
Spring: Sweet
Summer: Ripe
Fall: Semi Sweet

3. Now see what year you were born (98-01)

98: Mature, you know more than your friends do, you tend to tease them about it.
99: Edge of the milenium, you like to make things last longer than they do.
00: You were born in the start of an era. You can do anything!!!
01: Since you are the youngest in the pack, you tend to go with the flow.

Now combine them and see what happens....... viola!!!!

How to: pull off a rockin' belt

Have this wicked awesome, totally punk belt that you just can't pair with anything? Here are my top 10 ways to pair it with anything, and everything

10: Pull it through the belt loops, classic, right? Hide under shirt.

9: Tuck in a loose, cotton crew neck tee into skinny jeans, and wrap belt around waist.

8: Pair with another belt. Buh-Bam

7. Pull around biggest part of hips over long shirt

6: Pull though half the belt loops in your jeans and let the rest loose. buckle it like normal. let the unlooped side fall

5: Skinny Belts??? Put 2 or three in the belt loops at the same time. Per-Fec-To

4: Studded? pull the buckle in the back. Different, but chic :)

3: Wrap a skinny belt around your ankle

2: Tuck in a cotton crew neck shirt in your skinny jeans, and put 1 skinny and 1 thick belt around the waist

1: Do the suspender. 2 belts, half looped, crossed, hanging down. Suspenderific.

Use these tricks!

How to: Wear 2 eyeliner colors at once

I know it sounds crazy, but is it possible you could pair 2 eyeliner colors on 1 eye? I think so!

1. pair corresponding colors
ex. blue+mauve, brown+purple, black+blue, etc.
2. start with the lighter color on the top lash line
3. add the darker color slightly above the first color (this is tricky, so if it blends with the light color, thats OK)
4. blend colors together with an angle brush.

Have any questions? How-to ideas? Post in the comments!

How to rock: skinny jeans

Here is a tip on how to rock skinny jeans

1. Start with a classic skinny jean

a. dark wash: wear a cute graphic tee (k-o-h-l-s!)(in a vibrant color) and pair with a classic pair of chucks or (grey or black) flats
b. pigmented: Bright jeans require bright colors. Say, you have green, try a yellow fitted long sleeve or blue polo (aeropostale is great for that) and funky sneaks to complete the effect
c. light wash: This is the time to dress it up. wear a vibrant blouse (or ruffly top) with a cardi and some heeled ankle booties or black chucks
d.black: Black dyed jeans? No prob. A white graphic tee is essential to go classy, with (slightly) heeled ankle booties or chucks

2. Accessorize.
Dark wash: Classic (large) hoops should do and a couple friendship bracelets. Gor-Jus
Pigmented: Funky earrings (make sure they match) of your choice, a charm necklace, and a slinky chain for a bracelet
Light wash: Chandelier earrings (black or gold) with a statement necklace. Done. And... a red/pink scarf
Black: Colorful earrings of your choice, an abstract necklace (claires...) and a vibrant bracelet (h&m) OH! and don't forget the fedora.

3. Voila! Skinny jeans, rocked.
